Always in motion, the OKL team has designed their downtown-NYC space to reflect the level of interaction and communication needed between their internal teams to thrive. The floor plan speaks to their work flow: “the space is organized around the nature of our work, which is, essentially, the daily routine of merchandising the site. Buyers are working with vendors to secure product, which then gets delivered to our office, styled, photographed and published onto the site. The layout of the office is very strategic: the freight elevators open onto shipping and receiving, which is adjacent to styling and our photography sets. From there, retouching, editorial, copy and the design team flow into the merchandising team,” explains Josh Liberson, VIce President of Creative.
