Of firmly-stuffed canvas with three vertical seams on the face, large stitched-on felt ears, stitched-on colorful felt eyelids, mouth and cheeks blush, pink pom-pom nose, and purple loopedyarn hair, black shoe-button eyes, muslin body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips, stitched-on green velvet shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: “Clara-belle Clown” Madame Alexander, New York (cloth tag on costume). Comments: Alexander, 1951, from the firm’s Posey Pet series inspired by the Howdy Doody TV show.
