• Network of 90 Boom Ambassadors in 51 countries • In 2010 was attended by 20,000 people from 70 countries

Boom Festival is… ENVIRONMENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS

• The BEP aims to develop environmental responses to the challenges of human communities • Program with 3 areas of action: (1) contact with nature, (2) technologies and (3) artistic awareness




SANITATION

• First 20 composting toilets in 2006 • 90 units in the 2008 edition (40% of the festival toilets) • In 2010, 98% of composting toilets: - 159 composting (no water) toilets were constructed - 15 permanent composting (no water) toilets were constructed.




WATER TREATMENT Showers, restaurants and public can spend up to one million liters of water per day
