Communities There has undoubtedly been an increasing usage of social media. Websites such as LinkedIn, a social network for professionals, provides a platform to share ideas, expertise and best practices within groups, is one such example. LinkedIn was investigated given that it represents
the largest community of professionals interested in business topics and has the most active member base in the relevant area. Five types of LinkedIn groups dedicated to Performance Management were identified: Corporate Performance Management (CPM), Balanced Scorecard
