And it doesn’t get much more relaxing than a couple of hours snoozing in a hammock beneath a palm tree.

Although why not treat yourself to a soothing massage? Many of our hotels boast luxury spas that are simply ideal for working out those kinks.

Antigua has plenty of natural beauty too, of course. Our stunning coastal scenery is matched by wonders like Devil’s Bridge, underground caves and the tropical rainforest. A trip along Fig Tree Drive is a great way to see the island’s flora and fauna and pick up some unique local crafts.

You can even zip through the rain forest on a canopy tour - definitely one of the most exhilarating ways of getting to know the island!

But if you’re more in the mood for duty-free shopping, head for Redcliffe Quay and Heritage Quay in our capital St. John’s.

We even have a bit of a past! History buffs should make for Nelson’s Dockyard, the world’s only working Georgian dockyard.

Our crystal clear waters are just as restorative, of course. Snorkel amongst pristine coral reefs and get up close and personal to tropical fish.
