We would like to welcome everyone to the Eddie Woods 2016 Cowtown Classic Longhorn Sale, the first sale of the year. Once again, the Cowtown Classic offers something for everyone, including proven producing mature cows, some very high quality young cows, and some fine heifers with unlimited potential to help take your programs to the next level. We feel we have succeeded in putting together an extraordinary bunch of cattle for you. The sale is one of the most efficient tools we have as breeders to expose our cattle and get them in front of the public, being a part of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. We would encourage all TLBAA members to take part in our Directors Meeting and the Annual General Membership Meeting, along with the Awards Banquet on Friday while you’re in Fort Worth. Also for your enjoyment is the TLBT youth show on Monday at 9 a.m. and the TLBAA World Qualifying Open haltered show on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. The Eddie Woods Cowtown Classic is an excellent opportunity to start 2016 off riding the wave of excitement and enthusiasm of the last several longhorn sales of 2015. We purchased her from Mike Bowman at the Hudson/Valentine Sale in 2010 after she won all three of her classes at the 2009 Horn Showcase. Her 2014 heifer measured 37 1/2" at 13 months and we just weaned her 2015 bull calf. She sells exposed to our exciting young herd sire Rebel HR which placed second at the Horn Showcase this year.
