Leading the Tennessee Tech softball program through 12 highly successful seasons, head coach Tory Acheson has transformed the Golden Eagles into a national contender and a program that has displayed consistent excellence both on the diamond and off. Under Acheson’s leadership, the Golden Eagles have soared to new heights, winning Ohio Valley Conference championships, advancing to NCAA Tournament play and claiming back-to-back 50-win seasons. The program’s success is not limited to the diamond, as the Golden Eagles have been in the top-5 in the nation in team GPA. The combination of athletic and academic success has been a staple of Acheson’s teams since his arrival in 1999.
