OUR COMMUNITY EXTENSION OFFICE In Cheatham County, Extension is a joint program between UT Extension, TSU Cooperative Extension and the county government. Extension helps Tennesseans to improve their quality of life and solve problems through the application of research and evidenced-based knowledge about agriculture and natural resources, family and consumer sciences, 4-H youth development and community development.

Are you interested in learning new things, volunteering and giving back to the community? The FCE club is for you. Members plan monthly educational programs, veterans luncheon, service projects, attend FCE Leadership Camp and volunteer at the Cheatham County Fair. The Cheatham County Club meets the second Monday at 1 p.m. and The Cumberland Valley Club meets the last Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. FCE members host events in the community such as the Summer Sampler, Creative Day and many more.
