MEDIA ENTRANCE The Amon G. Carter Stadium press box can be accessed from the main Concourse Level (1) via elevators located on the northwest corner of the stadium. MEDIA CREDENTIAL REQUESTS All credential requests for home TCU football games will only be accepted through an online website (SportsSystems.com/ TCU). Please visit the site for complete instructions on submitting the application form. All credential requests for an outlet must be made at one time, and only those applications submitted by an outlet’s sports editor or sports director will be considered. Requests should be re­ceived no later than noon, two days prior to the game. For more information, contact Deanna Damon, TCU Athletics Media Relations administrative assistant, at (817) 257-7969. MEDIA CREDENTIAL PICKUP Season cre­den­tials will be available for pickup prior to the first game at the weekly media luncheon in the Dutch Meyer Athletic Complex as well as the ticket office located in the north endzone of Amon G. Carter Stadium. No credentials will be mailed after Tues­day preceding the game. Thereafter, cre­den­ tials may be picked up on game day at Media Will Call located in the ticket booth situated between Gates 2 and 3 at the southwest entrance of Amon G. Carter Stadium. MEDIA PARKING Media parking requests will be accommodated on a spaceavailable basis. The main media parking lot will be located in Lot 1A, which is south of Amon G. Carter Stadium across Bellaire Drive North. Other media will be located in a lot on the east side of campus. Media parking passes cannot be picked up or left at will call on game day. PRESS BOX SERVICES Complete stats, scoring summaries, running play-by-play, quick­ie stats and post-game notes and quotes are pro­vided by TCU Athletics Media Relations staff. Pre-game food service is available beginning approximately two hours prior to kickoff, while beverages are available throughout the contest. This service is provided as a courtesy to working media. In addition, concession areas are available within the stadium confines. Media credentials will not allow individuals access to public food and refreshments in the Amon G. Carter Stadium Club. WIRELESS INTERNET Wireless Internet is available in the Amon G. Carter Stadium press box as well as for postgame filing in the Four Sevens Team Room. Login information can be obtained via your seat tag or through a media relations staff member. WEEKLY NOTES, RELEASES, STATS All TCU game notes, news releases and statistics can be found on the department’s website at GoFrogs.com. SCOUTING PASSES Professional scouts may obtain credentials through TCU’s Athletics Media Relations Office. Scouts will be issued seating in the press box on a space-available basis. MULTIMEDIA More information on TCU football, as well the university’s entire athletics program, can be accessed online at GoFrogs.com. Upto-the-minute updates can be accessed via Twitter by following @TCUFootball and @TCU_Athletics. TIMEOUT POLICY All electronic timeouts will be scheduled in ac­cor­dance with Big 12 Conference-approved guide­lines. PHOTOGRAPHY WORKROOM TCU debuted a new photography workroom in 2012 located at Field Level (B1) near the entrance to the visiting team locker room behind the northwest stands of Amon G. Carter Stadium. Due to limited space, all seats will be assigned by the TCU Athletics Media Relations Office. Those individuals who are not assigned a seat in the photography workroom will be provided space in the press box.

MEDIA INFORMATION

PHOTOGRAPHER CREDENTIALS / VESTS Field photographers must wear a photo vest in plain sight at all times. Photographers may obtain vests by showing their sidelinephoto credentials outside the photography workroom prior to the start of the game. These sideline credentials are limited to representatives of daily news­pa­pers, wire services, television camera persons, specially ap­proved publications and those persons on assignment from the TCU Athletics Media Relations Office. Only those pho­tog­ra­phers on as­sign­ment will be au­tho­ rized cre­den­tials. Space does not allow for freelanc­ers. NCAA rules limit photographers to restraining lines clearly marked on the field. Photographers uncertain of sideline restrictions should seek clarification from a TCU staff member. RADIO BROADCASTS Amon G. Carter Stadium features several booths equipped for radio broadcast setup, all located in the northwest corner of the Suite Level (3) directly above the Club/Press Box Level (2). Three (3) POTS and one (1) ISDN hook-up are available in the visiting radio booth. Hardwire access from the visiting team locker room to the visiting radio booth is available for use during post-game interviews. Ad­di­tion­al lines should be ordered through TCU Connect at (817) 257-4357.

TELEVISION BROADCASTS TCU’s live television appearances will be governed by the existing Big 12 Conference policy and association. All non-conference tele­vi­sion appearances originating from Amon G. Carter Stadium must be ap­proved by TCU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Chris Del Conte. Those TV production crews planning to tele­cast TCU games may con­tact the TCU Athletics Media Relations Office for suggestions of catering services to handle the production crew’s game day meal ar­range­ments, as these crews are not served through TCU’s pre-game media meal service. For informa­ tion concern­ing elec­tri­cal pow­er, hook­ups and other sim­i­lar needs, con­tact TCU Associate Athletics Director Ross Bailey at r.bailey@tcu.edu or (817) 257-7009. The TCU Phys­i­cal Plant can also be of assistance at (817) 257-7955. TELEVISION BOOTH The national television booth is located at midfield of the Club/ Press Box Level (2). Auxillary booths that can be utilized for secondary television entities when necessary are located alongside the radio booths in the northwest corner of the Suite Level (3), directly above the writing press area. LOCKER ROOMS The TCU locker room is closed following games both at home and on the road. The visiting team’s post-game press conference is held just outside the new visiting locker room area, located at Field Level (B1) under the northwest stands of Amon G. Carter Stadium. POST-GAME INTERVIEWS Following an approximate 10-minute cooling-off period, TCU head coach Gary Patterson and selected play­ers will conduct interviews in the home post-game media area located in the Four Sevens Team Room of the Meyer-Martin Athletic Complex. Enter through the main doors of the Walsh Complex located on the south endzone concourse. Admission to post-game press conferences are limited to those individuals holding media cre­den­tials issued by the TCU Media Relations Office. Postgame interviews are arranged through a media relations staff member. Following road games, Patterson and players will be available outside the visitor’s locker room. The visiting team press conference area for TCU home games is located directly outside the entrance to the visitor’s locker room located at Field Level (B1) behind the northwest stands of Amon G. Carter Stadium. TELEPHONE INTERVIEWS To arrange a telephone interview, contact the TCU Athletics Media Relations Office at least one day in advance so that ample time is given to notify the player or coach.

Though the TCU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is a proud and integral part of Texas Christian University, it desires to be recognized simply as TCU (acronym only) Athletics. Ditto regarding references to its sports teams: TCU football, TCU basketball, TCU baseball, etc. In all sports-related media references, we respectfully request that the university’s teams be identified with an appropriate appellation–TCU. In subsequent references of the same presentation the team may be referred to by nickname-Horned Frogs. A shorter version of the nickname, Frogs, is acceptable in later usage.

COVERING PRACTICE The TCU football team typically con­ducts work­outs be­tween the hours of 3 p.m. and 6 p.m, Tuesday through Thursday. The Frogs generally do not practice on Monday. All prac­tic­es are closed unless specified otherwise. TV crews and photographers are only permitted to shoot practice after receiving permission from the TCU Athletics Media Relations Office. INTERVIEWS WITH COACH PATTERSON Telephone interviews are coordinated through TCU Athletics Media Relations Director Mark Cohen at m.cohen@tcu.edu or (817) 257-5394. Patterson will also be available each Tuesday throughout the season at his weekly media luncheon in the Dutch Meyer Athletic Complex. The luncheons run from noon to 1 p.m. Patterson will also be available for comments following select practice sessions. INTERVIEWS WITH PLAYERS All player interviews must be coordinated through the TCU Athletics Media Relations Office. Media wish­ing to con­duct in­ter­views are en­cour­aged to do so at the TCU Football Media Luncheon each Tuesday (in season) in the Four Sevens Team Room in the Meyer-Martin Athletic Complex. The lun­cheons run from noon until 1 p.m. Interviews may also be obtained before players report to pre-practice meetings or at the conclusion of practice. To sched­ule an in­ter­view, con­tact the Athletics Media Relations Office be­fore 10 a.m. on the day you wish to conduct the in­ter­view. No player will be pulled from the practice field to conduct an interview. Home or cell numbers will not be made available and players have been instructed not to conduct interviews when contacted without prior approval.
