Designed for licensed registered nurses, Tarleton’s RN to BSN program allows nurses to build upon associate level nursing degrees to complete a bachelor’s degree conveniently in Fort Worth.

Designed for working RNs. Classes held downtown at Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus East, close to the hospital district. Tuesday and Thursday classes accommodate professional work schedules. Classes are offered face-to-face with online components. Students can finish the degree in as little as one year. Classes are offered in 8-week blocks to facilitate quick program completion. Tarleton’s low tuition rates provide a cost-effective opportunity for registered nurses to continue their education. Prerequisites and licesnsure can be completed through the same TCC location, and students can transition seamlessly to Tarleton-Fort Worth. Fully accredited by the Texas Board of Nursing. The baccalaureate program at Tarleton State University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Tarleton Nursing graduates have 100% job placement within three months after graduation.

ADMISSION TO TARLETON • 30 or more semester hours: Minimum 2.0 GPA * Requirements are subject to change as outlined by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

TARLETON.EDU/ADMISSIONS ADMISSION TO THE NURSING PROGRAM • 57 General Education & nursing prerequisite credits with a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

• Associate degree or diploma from a NLNA accredited nursing program • Hold a current, unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the U.S., and be eligible for unencumbered licensure in Texas • Basic statistics course with a grade of “C” or better • Three letters of recommendation from professional representatives (not friends or relatives) as outlined on the application - recommendation form • Résumé as outlined on the application-recommendation form
