aos is a place that … well, we asked our readers to fill in the blank. And from the answers we received, it appears Taos is a pretty good place to live. tains, sunsets, sky, fresh air, good food, skiing, and amazing light. The list goes on. And naturally, Taos is a place that nourishes our readers. “Fills a void you didn’t know you had” was one answer. Here are two more: “Fills you with magic and wonder” and “Fills the darkest corners of my soul with fun.” Then, of course, many people wrote Taos feels like home, including, as one person wrote, “even for newcomers.” People wrote Taos also has good
energy, natural beauty and “crazy people.” More than one reader claimed Taos “has something for everybody.” Then, of course, there were the cynics, who noted Taos “drains your wallet” and “either you love it or hate it.” But so many more called Taos a healing and inspiring place. And the most frequent answer in the survey? Taos is the place that … “I love the most.” Or as one person put it, “Has many challenges, but at the end of the day you couldn’t think of a better place to be.”
