The construction methods are inspired by insects. WEAK! Architects are industrial insects. The Bug Dome cocoon is constructed out of bamboo and weak concrete (cement mixed with soil). All the material is collected from around the building site and will return back to the natural cycle after the biennale. The Bug Dome is a temporary multifunctional space. During the Shenzhen – Hong Kong Biennale 2009 it will host underground bands to perform, poetry and dialogs. The cocoon will also be used as a workshop space for children's architecture. Individually we are all too srong. We can be weak together The Bug Dome is a space for post-urban meditation. The metamorphosis is almost complete.

茧」作品敘述
弱团队的建筑师们向昆虫学习建筑的方法，并且具 体实践出来。 昆虫生活在地球上的时间比人类还 长，不曾产生脏乱垃圾或是污染空气，它们不需都 市忙挣钱。意图在吵嚷烦乱的都市里，营造过度喧 嚣的安静，一个沉静处所。

「茧」建筑架构主要是由竹子编织结构，混合基地 上的泥土而成。建筑材料，多取自天地并归于天地。 「茧」是个临时性建置的多功能建筑空间，在双年 展期间举办「孩童城市工作营」, 并邀请地下乐团 做演出同时举行读诗会和建筑论谈。
