Schenectady County Community College seeks to achieve a culturally diverse environment where the contributions of all individuals are recognized and valued. It is our goal to work toward achieving an appreciation for cultures and contemporary issues related to the inclusion of multicultural experiences. The College continues to strengthen avenues for better understanding and appreciation of individual differences. Schenectady County Community College affirms that bias-related incidents related to race, creed, gender, national origin, age, student activities disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, or marital status will not be tolerated on campus. Every effort is made to provide opportunities for prevention and awareness programs to the College community that foster a climate inclusive of all people and to minimize bias-related incidents.
