ACTIVITIES STAND OUT THAT
President’s Exhibition Competition of AUK The American University of Kuwait announced the winners of the student competition for The President’s Exhibition, Spring 2012. The winning art work was selected from the ‘best of the best’ student class work from the previous semester. All entries were submitted to the competition by the AUK ART and Graphic Design (GDES) professors. The Exhibition included painting, drawing, graphic design, cut paper, and photography work juried for creativity, originality, and technique. Students with winning artwork received a certificate signed by AUK President Dr. Winfred Thompson; they and their parents were honored at a reception inaugurating the exhibition. They also enjoyed having their work displayed in the President’s Office for the coming six months, ensuring that their work will be viewed by dignitaries and other honored visitors to the University. The 21 winners of the competition are: Sarah Ahmad, Nasser A. Al-Sager, Arwa S. Al-Enezi, Zahraa J. Hamadi, Hayat T. Al Zafiri, Shahad Al-Terkait, Fatima Al-Tamimi, Rawan Al-Omani, Hassan Shah, Jumana AlRefai, MatrahAldooseri, Hiam Al-Ali, Sarah Al Ajmi, Sundes Al Blushi, Sarah Khalid Al-Bloshi, Bashayer Al-Hussinan, Roaa Al Majed, ArwaMulla Ali, Sarah Al-Haddad, Maha Ali, Khadijah Al-Najadah.
تنظيم امللتقى االول خلريجات بوك�س هيل 2010- نظمت �إدارة �ش�ؤون الطلبة الملتقى االول للخريجات القدامى للدفعات . علي عريفة ورئي�س مجل�س �أمناء الكلية د. بح�ضور رئي�س الكلية د2011 عبد الرحمن ال�شايجي ومدراء الأق�سام الأكاديميين ال�سيدة �شيرين الدي�سوكي رئي�سة ق�سم الدرا�سات الإدارية وال�سيدة �أنطونيا جوليك رئي�سة ق�سم الفنون التطبيقية وال�سيدة كلير هميلتون رئي�سة ق�سم الدرا�سات التمهيدية في الكلية . بحرم الكلية في �أبو حليفة،�إ�ضافة الى طاقم الهيئة التدري�سية وهدف الملتقى الى تحقيق التوا�صل االجتماعي بين الكلية وخريجاتها القدامى كما �أتاح الملتقى الفر�صة لتقديم فكرة لقدامى الخريجات عما و�صلت �إليه الكلية ،من تطور على الم�ستوى الأكاديمي كالمناهج والمباني والقاعات والمختبرات .لتعزيز مكانة الكلية لديهن وانتمائهن لها ليكونوا عون ًا لها و�سند تم في ختام الحفل تكريم مجموعة من الأ�ساتذة القدامى الذين كان لديهم .الدور الأهم في تهيئة ه�ؤالء الخريجات للحياة العملية والمهنية
