There’s Music In the Air Free Concerts All Weekend Music is one of the joys of the holidays. Carolers and choirs, bands and soloists, pianists and quartets – Bellefonte will ring out with music from the first note of the Opening Ceremony through the stirring finale of the Victorian Christmas Community Choir Concert Sunday evening. All of these musical presentations are free – and promise to raise the spirit of Christmas in every heart. As you reach the Opening Ceremony at the Bellefonte Elementary School, Mr. Dickens and the Bellefonte Community Band greet you on the front steps. In addition to special remarks, the ceremony features music by, the Nittany Knights, the Bellefonte Elementary School Fourth- and Fifth-grade Choir, Middle School Women’s Chorale, St. John’s Elementary School Choir, and other special performances, including a preview performance of Dickens Holiday Show. Saturday and Sunday offer many
opportunities to celebrate the holiday with music, from hymns and sacred music, to holiday folk, pop, and whimsical tunes. Trinity United Methodist Church located at 128 West Howard Street is the site for many of these free concerts:
