Do you love to sing? Learn songs from some of Broadway’s best-loved musicals as well as kid-friendly pop numbers. Students will be encouraged to develop their vocal and performance techniques just like the stars on Glee. Performance on the last day for family and friends. Week of Aug. 4 SEARCH AND RESCUE LEGO® ROBOTICS (Ages 7-9) Create, program and control robots designed to respond to simulated disaster situations such as moving rubble and retrieve targets. Use Lego® Robotic NXT kits and computers to learn robotics, computer programming and teamwork. NO AFTER-CARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS CAMP. 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 4-8 M-F $105
CUPCAKE WARS (Ages 10-12) Do you love to make cupcakes and watch Cupcake Wars on the Food Network? In this amazing camp, you can let your imagination and creativity run wild as you discover how to use icing, flavorings, candy clay, gumpaste, decorations and candies and turn them into creations of art! Each day you will be given a theme. On the final day, we will have our very own cupcake wars. Teams will create a business name and a logo. Are you up for the challenge? Aprons will be provided.
