Abounding In Grace We Have Come This Far By Faith

The Art of Being Thankful Believing when time say you should quit …. Building when all has broken down …. Caring when you need arms to hold you …. Giving when there is nothing left to keep you …. Hoping when impossible knock on your door …. Laughing when life has beaten you down …. Smiling when you know it hurts the most …. Trusting when reality tells you not to …. In all these things you will be …. Loving God when life say stop. ~ L. Evette Pratt

There are days on everyone's calendar when it seems like they got off on the wrong day, it's almost as if the day just didn't start correctly already loaded with heaviness and great concern. You find yourself wishing for the day to hurry and end so you'll awake into a better one tomorrow, one hopefully filled with the surprise of peace and glee. How does one learn how to abound in the little? It's slightly different with being happy with much. For many the little is a sudden change of lifestyle and for some it is an adjustment to a previously complete lifestyle, yet whatever the case it takes a great heart of gratitude to find 'your happy' in the little, especially when you were once used to having much. The little things in life are able to give you an even greater satisfaction when it seems like your calendar dropped you off on the wrong day. Here are a few quick methods to remedy such a day: 1. Think of one thing the Lord has done in your past that has made you smile and use that as a Praise Starter. 2. Take a few minutes and enter through the door of natural life, as you go out into nature take in deep breaths of God's fresh air made just for you. As you take in deep breaths meditate on a favorite Scripture of Promise. 3. Stretch a twenty, take $20.00 and buy items to make sandwiches to give out to the homeless or take to a shelter. It is unique that even in our sad times there are always others right around us who are in just as much of a need or greater. Paul said that he was just as happy with little as he was with much, we too have to be careful to remain just as happy with what we have, hands full or empty and when our hands become too empty trust God to fill them. As we keep our minds guarded in the most trying times and think on the things God has placed in his word for us we shall abound in the Grace of God. Look at Paul’s life you would think that he celebrated Thanksgiving Everyday. **AMEN** "Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16
