This lecture/discussion is a multimedia program on the topic of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. Framed in history and geography, this course will give background facts as well as consider modern events. This course will consider important questions, such as: Why is peace so elusive? Is a just resolution possible? Gain context for understanding a story that is never far from the headlines. A question-and-answer session will follow the program. This discussion represents the Jewish Community Relations Council's perspective on this topic. We welcome all to participate in this dialogue. A Day in the Life: One Soldier's Tour of Duty in Vietnam

Join a local Vietnam vet for an informative evening chronicling his tour of duty in South Vietnam from June 1970 through April 1971. Greg Moon was a (mech) infantry platoon leader and was able to extensively record his time there with photographs, Super 8 footage, captured documents and maps. After the slide show and lecture detailing the daily activities of an American Army soldier, there will be ample time for questions and answers.
