You will prepare for IELTS exam, while improving the general level of your English. These courses are intensive, and focus on academic English as well as the skills and strategies needed to score the band you need in the IELTS examination.

You will learn to write essays and reports/ descriptions. You will also work on your reading, listening and speaking skills, while improving your vocabulary and your grammar. You will familiarise yourself with the IELTS test format and requirements. You will have access to the IELTS collection in the Learning Development Centre and to the learning materials which support the course on the college virtual learning environment.

An assessment of your reading, writing listening and speaking skills and an interview with an IELTS specialist. Evidence of previous qualifications from all countries. A commitment to work hard and to attend 100% of lessons. A commitment to do homework outside the class.
