SPRING/SUMMER 2011

GENERATING EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCES IN DANCE

Welcome to our Spring/Summer season brochure 2011. It is another busy period for South East Dance and we hope you enjoy reading about the diverse range of opportunities we have programmed from April to July. Many of our activities this season are offered in association with a range of partners across and beyond the South East and we do hope you find something of interest. We’re delighted to be working with new partners in the region including South Hill Park and University of Sussex to bring a digital focus to Flourish , our comprehensive programme of professional development. We are also pleased to be profiling work by Charles Linehan, a South East Dance co-commission, Nic Sandiland and a range of emerging dance artists as part of Brighton Festival this May. Our Building Communities programme goes from strength to strength and the spring will see us launch free classes for Brighton’s older residents to explore their creativity through dance. We hope you find these events and activities interesting and we look forward to seeing you very soon.
