This beginner level course was developed in partnership with local industry representatives. Trainees will be introduced to a variety of topics that have been identified as relevant to career success in our region. Trainees must attend the full 24 hours and pass the exam with a 75% or higher in order to receive a certificate of successful completion. SAFETY & SKILLS INSTRUCTORS Tim Hogue Hogue holds an A.A.S. in Industrial Electronics Technology, a technical certificate in refrigeration and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Electrial Engineering Technology. He is a licensed industrial maintenance electrician, residential master electrician, and high pressure boiler operator. Hogue holds EPA certification in handling and reclaiming refrigerants as well as certifications in the areas of reliability centered maintenance and root cause analysis.

Mike Meadows Meadows is retired from Lion Oil where he served over 20 years as a safety engineer. He currently serves as a C-STOP instructor.

Ron Palculict A chemical engineer, Palculict recently retired from Lion Oil after 18 years where he served most recently as the Safety and Security Manager. Palculict currently serves as a C-STOP instructor.

Bennie Adams Recently retired after 33 years in the chemical industry, Adams has served as maintenance technician, safety technician, supervisor, and safety/security manager. As Security Manager, Adams specialized in the Department Of Homeland Security’s Chemical Anti-terrorism Standard (CFATS).
