OU had a chance to reach 100 in the first half but missed three 3-pointers in the final minute to wind up with 97. Six Sooners scored in double figures on the night while two more finished with nine points.

The Sooners’ 17 treys and 38 long-range attempts also still exist as building records. Loyola Marymount scored 112 points in the contest and still lost by 60. Oklahoma’s 172 points were one shy of the school record.
