In Bob Stoops’ 15 seasons at the University of Oklahoma, six of his assistant coaches have gone on to become head coaches at other FBS programs. It’s not hard to gauge the quality of the Sooner staff or Stoops’ ability to hire good people. The beneficiaries are Oklahoma’s players. In record numbers they have been honored and drafted into the professional ranks. And that has been true regardless of what position they play. Identifying and recruiting talent, coaching talent to play at its peak and preparing players for life after college, whether it be in football or in the business world, nobody does it better than Oklahoma.
