ill & Main has been able to build on the Meatballs history, which dates back to 1983. “The things that Meatballs had, we tried to keep, like large portions and a lot of the same items we kept, like big meatballs,” Dan said. The Gibsons have worked in the restaurant business for 24 years. “We always worked for other people,” Dan said. “We had the opportunity to do it for ourselves and we took the chance.” Dan is the main chef in the kitchen, serving up popular dishes like chicken piccatas and chicken marsalas alongside the pizzas and calzones, while Lee Ann is the pastry chef known for her homemade peanut butter pies, cheesecakes and cupcakes.
