First things first, I would recommend cleansing and exfoliating your skin to prevent any breakouts and stimulate blood circulation (try Brenda Anvari Exfoliating Cleanser £12.95 for 250ml). Now apply a thick layer of hydrating face mask such as Antipodes Manuka Honey mask £21.99 for 75ml and leave it on to soak into the skin for a minimum of 15 minutes. Whilst this is working its magic apply a soothing and de puffing eye gel - Sisley Eye Contour Mask £73.50 for 30ml is one of the best. After removing these with a warm flannel, apply your normal moisturizer and follow with a pea size amount of Darphin Camellia Mask for a gorgeous glow.

Its also great for smoothing out pores and blemishes- my favourite is Shu Uemura Instant-Glow - Immediate Radiance Skin Perfecting Cream £36. A favourite long lasting foundation of mine for reducing shine is Myface MyMix Foundation 12.99it lasts all night! Some of the best eye shadow bases are by Estee Lauder, called Doublewear £14.00- they last for 24 hours and allow you to build a striking colour on top. My favourite eyeliners for the evening are MAC Eye Kohl £13.00 because they have a dense colour and are great value. My ultimate party mascara is Lancome Hypose Drama in Very Black £17.00- it builds the best false lash look of any mascara I’ve tried and isn’t clumpy.
