For our May 2019 issue, we set out to achieve a very special goal. For this we ventured to the RuĂ&#x;wurm manor (RuĂ&#x;wurmsches Herrenhaus), in the Breitungen municipality of Thuringia, where many centuries have inscribed themselves in the washed-out sandstones, weathered half-timbered beams, worn steps, and soot from the Thirty Years' War. In this historical setting, we staged clothes made of chambray and nettle, reminiscent of pieces from Vermeer's paintings. What might surprise you is that each creation is suitable as an IT piece in your modern DIY wardrobe!
