at noon, July 27 and 28, followed by a parade MORE INFO: This particular breed of horses was developed more than 300 years ago in the region of Clydesdale, Scotland for farm work and is capable of pulling a 1-ton load at up to 5 miles per hour. The Clydesdales were originally a gift from August A. Busch Jr. and Adolphus Busch to their father. in celebration of the ending of Prohibition.

Miss Lake County. Saying goodbye after being named Junior Miss Lake County Fair 2012 will be Teaghan Callaway, and saying goodbye as the Little Miss Lake County Fair 2012 will be Mia Modell. The new Lake County Fair queens, including Miss Lake County Fair will be traveling the fair grounds to meet visitors.

DEMOLITION DERBY

presents the Demolition Derby, with a pre-show at 11 a.m. followed by the derby at noon. While rules vary from event to event, the typical demolition derby event consists of ive or more drivers competing by deliberately ramming their vehicles into one another. The last driver whose vehicle is still operational wins. Also, enjoy the Monster Truck Nationals at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, July 27.
