HARDROCKER FOOTBALL CAMPUS PROFILE FACTS 2006-2007 South Dakota School of Mines and Technology has a proud heritage of excellence in preparing graduates to serve as leaders in the professions of engineering and science. The university provides graduate and undergraduate degrees in science, engineering, and interdisciplinary sciences. There are 16 academic departments organized into two colleges. A total of 30 degree programs in engineering and science are offered at the baccalaureate, masters and doctoral levels. Our students, in combination with an exceptionally talented faculty and great support from the community, provide an exciting environment for education excellence. Award-winning undergraduate education is enhanced by graduate education and research and development in areas of critical need to the state, nation, and the international community.

FACILITIES South Dakota School of Mines and Technology facilities include the Darold D. King Physical Education Building, the Chemistry/Chemical Engineering Building, the Civil/Mechanical Engineering Building, the Electrical Engineering/Physics Building, the McLaury Building, Devereaux Library, O'Harra Building, Mineral Industries Building, and Surbeck Student Center.
