Welcome to the 21st annual Haciendas—A Parade of Homes! The Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association (SFAHBA) is once again proud to sponsor the best open house in New Mexico. Year after year, this selfguided tour exhibits the uniqueness, charm, and sustainability of Santa Fe construction and design. It’s all about Santa Fe style and gracious living, and this year’s showcase of new construction and whole-house remodels is sure to inspire your own creativity. Every year our builders compete for awards including the Grand Hacienda and Grand Green Awards. At any time during the Parade you can also cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award signifying your choice for the best of the best in Santa Fe style. Simply use your ticket number to vote online at haciendasmagazine.com during the Parade. Santa Fe builders and the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association continue to lead the country in green and sustainable building and development programs. SFAHBA is proud to acknowledge the local businesses and individuals who continue to pave the way for so many other communities in residential construction innovation. We donate a portion of our ticket sales to local youth charities and high schools. Please acknowledge the young ticket ambassadors you meet at each home for their service in helping to raise funds for their programs. I also send out a big thank you to our sponsors, committees, volunteers, and judges, without whom this nationally recognized event would not be possible. In 2013, we are excited to announce a collaboration with the Santa Fe design community. The Design Santa Fe Home & Garden Tour will be conducted concurrently with Haciendas—A Parade of Homes, with these designer homes—normally exhibited in the late fall—available for viewing during the same days and hours as the Haciendas tour. And remember that tickets for both tours can be purchased in advance through the Lensic box office, homes on both the Parade and the Home & Garden Tour, and through most sponsor locations.
