mission advancement special events ı 2012 - 2013 Grandparents’ Day ı Learning across Generations Children’s Easter Party enjoyed a continental breakfast, faculty and student presentations, songs from last winter’s musical, White Christmas, and a prayer service in the chapel. After the festivities, sophomores led their grandparents on guided tours of the campus. Grandparents and sophomores alike thoroughly enjoyed the “Learning across Generations” portion of the program, a new addition to this year’s gathering where students, grandparents, and teachers interacted through lessons and activities. The time in chapel was especially meaningful, as each moment of the service honored the bond between granddaughters and their grandparents. Andrea Sanchez ’15 poses alongside grandmother Ana Baez.
