President’s Paragraphs Thank you to those members and partners who were able to attend the Group 8 combined meeting last week. It was a good fellowship opportunity and we also heard a good guest speaker. It is always worthwhile visiting other clubs to witness how they may do things and if we might be able to learn some new ideas to strengthen our own club.

Coming Meetings 27 October and 3 November 27 October We will have as guest Speaker, Cindee Richardson from Catherine House Inc. speaking to us this week. Catherine house was established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1988 to provide emergency accommodation and support for adult women unaccompanied by children. There are 16 sites in the inner city of Adelaide.

It must surely rate as one of our most significant achievements Wednesday night’s board meeting again contained significant discussion on membership and I urge all members to think about someone that you think would make a good Rotarian and ask them to come along and witness a meeting and what we do.
