Rhythm Journey
San Jose Taiko (SJT) brings us the powerful sounds of contemporary Japanese taiko drumming. Through their program “Rhythm Journey,” performers express the beauty and harmony of the human spirit through the fluid movement and sound of taiko drums. SJT has toured nationally and internationally, leading the genre by infusing traditional patterns of taiko with the beat of world rhythms, including African, Brazilian, Latin and jazz.
