One in three of us will get cancer and it’s the toughest thing most of us will ever face. If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, or a loved one has, you’ll want a team of people in your corner supporting you every step of the way. We provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care. We are Macmillan Cancer Support and our goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer in the UK.

We are a source of support, helping with all the things that people affected by cancer want and need. We also help carers, families, communities and act as a force for change, listening to people affected by cancer and working together to improve cancer care. Volunteers are essential to Macmillan achieving its aim to reach and improve the lives of everyone affected by cancer. To help us reach everyone affected by cancer, we must continue to inspire many more people to get involved in a voluntary capacity and/or be inspired to embed Macmillan best practice. Our volunteers not only make it possible for us to deliver a wider range of services, they help to ensure no one faces cancer alone.
