Champions Life Academy runs an 11-week sales internship, providing a competitive arena that seeks to prepare students for the world beyond university, offering them the chance to learn transferrable skills as well as earn extra cash. This is achieved through the medium of direct door-to-door fundraising with candidates receiving thorough and ongoing sales, communication and leadership training. The programme was voted Best Work Experience at the National Council for Work Experience Awards for its contribution to the employability of undergraduates.
Having direct sales experience has been recognised by many employers as the most desirable work experience to feature on a graduate’s CV. Champions alumni have found that learning the ability to communicate with a huge spectrum of people whilst producing competitive sales results over the course of a summer makes them far more employable, regardless of industry or field. As a result we found out that 89% of our alumni have landed their first choice job within a year of graduation.

If accepted onto the programme, students live and work in teams as part of one of several regions across the country, gaining the opportunity to meet like-minded people from both the UK and abroad. For the top interns, there are opportunities to progress into the management team the following year, where they embark on a journey that will take their experience to a level well beyond that of a graduate. We also have a graduate scheme for those that have excelled as undergraduates.
