A visual festival in the skies of İzmir “Turkish Air Show 2011” which was organized in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Air Forces and was attended by the most elite acrobatic teams in the world presented the people of İzmir with an unforgettable visual festival.

akvimler 4 Haziran 2011’i gösterdiğinde yaz sıcaklarının inceden kendini hissettirmeye başladığı bir cumartesi sabahına uyanan İzmir, günü unutulmaz kılacak bir etkinliğe açtı kapılarını. Heyecanlı bekleyiş, Çiğli 2. Ana Jet Üs Komutanlığında son buldu. Türk Hava Kuvvetlerinin 100. Kuruluş Yıldönümü onuruna düzenlenen ve dünyanın en seçkin hava akrobasi timlerinin katılacağı “Türkiye Hava Gösterisi 2011” için İzmir hazırdı artık. Sabahın erken saatlerinden itibaren gösteri alanını dolduran kalabalık, İzmir misafirperverliğinin en güzel kanıtıydı. Yediden yetmişe kentin dört bir yanından “Tüm halkımız davetlidir” mesajını karşılıksız bırakmayan İzmirlilerin katılımıyla gerçekleşen Türkiye Hava Gösterisi 2011 ile Türk Hava Kuvvetleri’nin gurur tablosuna 20 ülkenin misafir ekipleri de ortak oldu. n June 4th, 2011 on a warm Saturday morning, the people of İzmir awoke to an unforgettable event. The long wait ended at the Çiğli 2nd Main Jet Command. “Turkish Air Show 2011” which was organized in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Air Forces and which would host some of the most elite acrobatic teams in the world was ready for İzmir. Crowds who filled the event site in the wee hours of the morning were a testament to the hospitality of İzmir. The show which was not left unattended by the people of İzmir was joined by 20 foreign crews to honor the Turkish Air Forces. During the organization which began with a parachute show and a cortege salute at 10 o’clock in the morning gave way to an unforgettable visual fete with amazing shows from the Turkish Stars, Solo Turk and guest crews.
