Shane Curtis Strohmaier Shane is the son of Susan and Kent Strohmaier. His activities include FFA, FFA officer, track, Kennel Club, pep band, marching band, concert band, honor roll, honor society and honor society officer, District 9 FFA treasurer, junior class vice president, senior class Associated Student Body representative, class of 2010 valedictorian. He plans to attend Washington State University and major in Agricultural Technology and Production Management.
A Moment to Remember
James Robert Stevenson James’ parents are Jan Marie Deife and Dale Stewart Stevenson. His activities included ASB treasurer, 2008-09; ASB vice president, 2009-10; Kennel Club president, 2009-10; class secretary 2009-10; yearbook, three-year National Honor Society member, four years FFA; two years marching and pep band, four years honor roll, two years concert band; four years basketball, one year tennis; 2009-10 salutatorian. James plans to attend Gonzaga University majoring in pre-law, then attend law school to become an international/corporate lawyer.

Kayleen Marie Ackron Kayleen is the daughter of Annie Grace Turner. Her high school activities were cheerleading, softball, ASB, senior class vice president, FFA, Future Business Leaders of America and prom committee. She plans to attend Big Bend Community College for her general studies, then Eastern Washington University for their dental hygiene program.

Eric Russell Barrett Eric is the son of Bobbie Jo Werner and Matthew James Werner. He served as vice president of his freshman class. Eric has enrolled in the U.S. Army for 3-1/2 years as a U.S. Army airborne cannon crew member, 13B series and with possible re-enlistment when his term is up.
Brianna Rushelle Blaske Brianna is the daughter of Marianne V. Dew and Larry L. Blaske. Her activities were band, where she is a 4-year letterman; choir, including two years in honor choir. She has sung the national anthem at high school games. She was also junior class treasurer and entrepreneur president during her senior year. Brianna plans to move to Spokane to attend Spokane Community College for cosmetology where she will also receive her associates degree.

Emelia’s parents are Jacqueline Rae and Brently S. Bouwman. She has participated in four years of volleyball, basketball, softball, concert band, marching band, FFA and Kennel Club. She has been team captain and has held several offices in these activities. She has been junior class secretary and is a member of the National Honor Society and has achieved High Honor Roll several times. Emelia plans to attend Eastern Washington University and major in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education.
Sarah is the daughter of Marci Raye Calton and Ron James Ferderer. She attended Lind High School for 2-1/2 years and 1-1/2 years at Lewis and Clark. Her activities include volleyball for three years, one year as manager; four years drama, one year cheerleading. At Lewis and Clark: WDFY (Washington Drug Free Youth), DICI and Lewis and Clark through Eastern Washington University, three years track & field, one year boys’ track manager, sign language club and advanced psychology. Her plans include studying for sign language interpreting and studying hearing loss and the deafness culture.
Samantha’s parents are Heather Ann and Dwayne Charles Fowles. Her activities included volleyball, basketball, softball, cheerleading, Kennel Club, National Honor Society, honor roll, pep band, marching band, honor band, concert band, Sophomore class representative, Associated Student Body President, FFA, and FFA officer. Samantha plans to attend Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho, with a major in Psychology. She plans to use her degree in order to work with veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Grady Dane Gfeller Grady is the son of Lisa and Garry Gfeller. His activities include Lind National Honor Society president, FFA treasurer, junior class president, Kennel Club, Knowledge Bowl captain, high school band and a four-year honor band participant. He has been involved in National FFA Agronomy and participated in football, track and field. Grady will attend Spokane Community College in Fall 2010 and plans to major in radiologic technology.

Etelvina is the granddaughter of Maria Rivera. She participated in basketball and softball in her freshman and sophomore years, and in her junior year softball and Kennel Club; in her senior year wrestling and Kennel Club. She was treasurer of her senior class. Etelvina plans to attend Big Bend Community College for two years, then transfer to Central Washington University to become a court interpreter.
Richard is the son of Debbie Kay and Randall Edward Kulm. He is currently president of the senior class and his FFA chapter. Other FFA activities include agronomy, ag mechanics, soils, meats and farm business management contests. He showed hogs and cattle at five different fairs each year. Richard’s future plans are to attend WSU and enroll in the agricultural technology and production management program. After graduation he plans to work for a fertilizer company as a field technician and after five years return to the family farm.

Dylan Lee Nichols Dylan’s parents are Allison Anne and Markham Clayton Nichols. His activities included four years of golf, honor roll and drag racing. He was also sophomore class treasurer. Dylan plans to attend Spokane Community College and study the automotive tech program and auto body, then plans to open his own “Speed Shop.”

Samantha Rose Patterson Samantha’s parents are Vickie Loranne Boland, Clint Rice and David Allen Patterson. Her activities were freshman softball, sophomore varsity softball, junior softball and class representative, senior varsity cheerleading including two seasons as football cheer captain and varsity softball captain. Samantha plans to further her modeling career and attend Columbia Basin College in Pasco, earn her AA degree then transfer to the Art Institute of Seattle for a bachelors in fashion design. She also plans to attend two years of college for a degree in linguistics.

Natalie is the daughter of Tammy and Thayne Andrus. She plans to attend Central Washington University and major in foreign languages and interior design.

Katerina is the daughter of Mary G. and Barry L. Boyer. She was a member of FFA. Her plans are to attend college in Ohio where she will learn to train and care for horses and in the future to own a ranch for breeding and training horses.
Heather’s parents are Kristy Renee and Scott Alen Carruth. Her high school activities were FFA, SADD, drama and ASB. She plans to attend Big Bend Community College; after earning her AA degree will transfer to BYU Idaho or go on a mission. She plans to work in theatre and do voiceovers for Anime before becoming a high school drama teacher.
Andrea is the daughter of Lisa and Bill Cox. Her activities include volleyball, track, cheerleading, basketball, FFA, Future Business Leaders of America, Knowledge Bowl, math team, junior class officer, ASB officer, pep club, Red R. She plans to attend Life Pacific Bible School in California for her youth ministry degree, then transfer to a university for her nursing degree.

Marshall is the son of Rita R. and Tyler LeVant Fryberger. His activities included track, FFA, football, basketball, track: 10th state pole vault as a freshman, 12th state pole vault as a sophomore and junior; chapter historian for FFA, district reporter, chapter president. He plans to attend the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, to study computer information systems and software development.
Colby is the son of Barb and Jeff Greenwalt. His activities included golf, basketball and FFA. He plans to attend Walla Walla Community College to study crop and soil sciences.
Renae’s parents are Maureen Harder and J.C. Harder. Her activities included volleyball, basketball, track, two-year ASB officer, two-year class officer Knowledge Bowl, FFA, Future Business Leaders of America, two-year Future Business Leaders of America officer, pep club, Red R, publications. Renae plans to attend either the University of Washington or Syracuse University, studying either psychology or business as well as jewelry design.

Devon is the daughter of Lisa Anette and Gordon Lee Killian. Her activities included volleyball, basketball, honor choir, publications class (video work), Junior Miss sound system, Red R, pep club. Devon will attend BYU Idaho in Roseburg to major in video editing. Later in life she would like to have a family and live in a nice home.
Ben is the son of Dori Torgerson and Rick Malby. His activities included basketball, S.A.D.D., publications, pep band. Ben plans to join the U.S. Coast Guard then Cordon Bleu in Nevada. On the side he will work as a musician.
Rachael is the daughter of Annine Harder and Klay McCrady. Her activities include Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, pep club, pep band, softball, basketball, Knowledge Bowl. She plans to attend Western Washington University, majoring in pre-med.

Victoria is the daughter of Michele Russell and Ken Russell. Her activities were volleyball, cheerleading, track, golf, FCCLA, FFA, student council, JDDI, Stayin’ Alive Youth, Junior Miss, basketball manager. Victoria will work for one year to save money for her college education. She plans to attend ITT Tech for a bachelors degree in criminal justice.

His activities included football, senior year; basketball and baseball, four years; FFA agronomy, soil judging, potato judging and rituals, FFA treasurer senior year, National Honor Society, sophomore through senior year, junior class vice president, senior class president. Jacob plans to attend WSU and major in mechanical engineering.
Katlyn Marie Smith Katlyn is the daughter of Deborah Smith and Karl Smith. She participated in softball. Her plans are to work to earn money for Big Bend Community College, then to a four-year college; later to Cornish College of the Arts.

Alice Harder Alice is the daughter of Trish and Jim Harder. Her activities included volleyball, ASB officer, concert band, jazz band, pep band, honor band, National Honor Society, ballet, piano, band president, basketball announcer and is a member of Washtucna Community Church. Alice plans to attend the University of Idaho majoring in business administration or accounting and will participate in the music department.
Garrett is the son of Colleen G. and Garth Alan Blauert. His activities included varsity football for four years and varsity basketball for three years. He was ASB president, FFA president and senior class president. Garrett plans to attend Columbia Basin College prior to transferring to WSU or University of Idaho. He plans to earn his degree in agriculture and find employment in agriculture.

Jordan’s parents are Catherine Cathleen Goude and Paul Eugene Goude. His activities included basketball, football, tennis, FFA, trap shooting and working outdoors. He enjoys hunting and fishing with friends and family. Jordan plans to become an aquatic biologist or a history teacher. He will attend Big Bend Community College for two years and will then transfer to Eastern Washington University.
Sergio’s parents are Milka de Mansilla and Ramiro Mansilla. His host parents are Mary and Richard Jessop. His activities included football, basketball, baseball and FFA. His plans are to graduate from high school in Bolivia, study political science at Catholic University of Bolivia and to win for the third time the state Karate Kyokushin championship in Oruro, Bolivia. He plans to return to America in four years to visit his host family and friends.
Ashley is the daughter of Donna Jean McKenzie and Don Patrick McKenzie. Her activities included FFA, ASB, basketball, tennis, cheerleading, FFA officer, class officer (4 years). She plans to attend Walla Walla Community College for a degree in social work; then she will attend a four-year college.
