American Association of University Women (AAUW), Lancaster Branch, Scholarship Amanda J. Bletz Awarded to a Lancaster-area woman who is a nontraditional student and has completed at least 90 credits at the University. AFSCME Local 2421 Award Allison L. Baker Awarded to up to four students who are full-share members or a dependent of a full-share member of AFSCME Local 2421. Recipient must be in good academic standing, have financial need, be enrolled in a degree-seeking program and have completed a minimum of 30 credits. APSCUF-MU Steven Centola Scholarship Ema K. Erin and Tom Baker Get Involved! Millersville University Student Leadership Award Elijah J. Green Awarded to a student who is enrolled at Millersville full-time and is active in campus organizations and programs with a demonstrated interest in bettering the campus community. The student will have experience as a student leader and an enthusiasm for assisting and working with others from a diverse assortment of backgrounds. Ann B. Barshinger Scholarship Jennifer M. Baker Awarded to a freshman student from York County with involvement in community/civic activities. Selection will be based on the high school academic and co-curricular record as recommended by the admissions office. The scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years depending upon the recipient remaining in good academic standing with a CGPA of 3.0 and with continuing involvement in community/civic activities. The Beideman Scholarship Benjamin P. Shoff Jordan R. Weller Awarded to two to four students in the Honors College selected on academic merit, significant community involvement and/ or financial need. Black Student Union / Dr. Melvin Allen and Jennifer Coleman Award James C. Randall An award presented to African-American and Latino students for scholarship and demonstrated service to the University. Selection is by the membership of the Black Student Union in conjunction with appropriate University offices.
