Organic, Raw

Cacao Nibs

Did you know chocolate grows on trees? Our Raw, certified Organic Cacao Nibs come from peeled, whole Cacao beans from Peru. The Cacao bean is the seed of the Cacao tree. Dark, crunchy and with a bitter chocolatey taste, the Cacao beans have been grown organically without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemicals of any kind. They are also certified Fairtrade, which means that the farmers receive a fair price for their crop.

Magic Beans

Full of Flavour & Crunch

Raw Cacao Nibs can be eaten as they are, for a delightful chocolate experience! Their crunchy texture adds an extra special lift to trail mixes. Try sprinkling over muesli and fruit, and even on salads.

The Cacao bean has long been treasured in human history, which is no wonder really considering that Raw Cacao is one of the most, if not the most, nutrient rich and complex foods known to man, containing over 300 nutritional compounds including polyphenols, essential minerals and mood enhancing chemicals.

Superfood Nutrition

Cacao is a tremendous supremefood, having one of the highest polyphenols levels of any food on earth. Other essential minerals present in Cacao are Calcium, Zinc, Iron, Copper and Potassium. It is also high in the ‘Beauty Minerals’ Sulphur and Magnesium.

The Food of Love and Happiness

Raw Cacao contains a cocktail of pharmacologically active substances, including mood-enhancing neurotransmitters and a chemical the brain secretes when we are in love. This could explain why chocolate has long been suspected of having anti-depressant and aphrodisiac properties!

Organic, Raw Cacao Powder Our sun-dried Raw Cacao Powder is made by grinding up raw Cacao beans (seeds of the Cacao fruit, which grow on the Cacao tree), then extracting the pure oil (Cacao Butter) in a cold-pressing process. The result is a silky smooth powder with deep dark sensual notes of flavour, perfect for all your Raw Chocolate recipes!

Chocolate Alchemy

One or two spoonfuls of Raw Cacao Powder can transform many recipes into healthy chocolate treats. Add to smoothies, raw cakes and desserts… and of course Raw Chocolate!
