Here at Punch (http://punch-records.co.uk/) we organise and exhibit the annual BASS festival (British Arts and Street Sounds) it is the UK’s only month long celebration of Black Music and Art. Every June, the UK comes alive with a phenomenal line up of events, new commissions, gigs, exhibitions, master classes, showcases, club nights, theatre, conferences and film. The theme for this year’s festival is Jamaica which coincides with the counties celebration of 50 years independence and the arrival of the Jamaican Olympic team to train in Birmingham for the London Games 2012.
