ART CLASSES

Acrylic & Silk Painting for Students Location: Kedron Fieldhouse, Room 3 Ages: 8 - 14 Wednesday Time: 4 pm - 6 pm Instructor: Stephen Kross This class will include three exciting art projects. Students will learn the technique of painting on a fabric based silk. Projects will include a silk painting of either a fish or other animal of their choice. A second project will be a painted silk lantern, which students will be able to proudly display once completed. The third project will be an acrylic painting of the student’s choice of design on a studio grade 12 x 14 canvas board in which students will learn about mixing colors and the application of acrylic paints. Students will need to wear old clothes as these projects could be messy. Stephen Kross, who has a BS in Art will be providing instruction. NO CLASS APRIL 6 1995.103 1995.104 1995.105

Happy Hands Art Classes - Parent/Child Location: Kedron Fieldhouse, Room 3 Ages: 2 to 4 Tuesday Time: 10:45 am - 11:30 am Instructor: Suzanne Ries

Happy Hands Art Classes are parent/child classes that will focus on developing fine motor, sensory and creative skills in children 2 to 4 years of age. Parents and their children will complete an art project together each week in class using paints, scissors, glue, crayons, clay, pencils & more. Classes begin with a special story time that relates to the art project. After story time, parents and children will begin creating the art project for that week. Lastly, at the end of each class additional fine motor and educational activities will be available. Younger siblings may attend with parents, however, only children ages 2 to 4 may participate in the class. There is a sibling fee of $75. NO CLASS APRIL 5. 5993.103
