Vulcan publishes writing, art and photography that is incongruent with the norm. The dis-allusion aspect of Vulcan refers to our attempt to offer a creative environment for contemporary voices where normalcy and conformity are not requirements. Vulcan offers our readers creative work that incites or reflects discovery, distortion, dissonance, disconnection, disbelief, distance from the center, something that is slightly ajar and amiss, disarming, discerning, dissolute. We do not print beautiful landscape poetry, as it causes us to gag with horror, which we then photograph and print in the mag to share. Take a look!
