How? Building and strengthening the movement, finding and sharing resources, working and supporting each other, connecting with the community through authorities, NGO`s, CBO`s, public institutions, gathering people where their voices are heard and creating one stronger, motivating and inspiring one.

When these were developing, the change was happening: change in attitude, involvement, community responsibility, increasing young people`s self esteem, trust in themselves, personal development, professional development. When I look back and I see all the generations of young volunteers I have no words than to be proud. Proud because they become strong and active citizens, good students, good professionals and Y professionals because now some of them joined our Y family as staff. My wish for the Baia Mare YMCA is to grow, continue to serve the community best it can and to be relevant in the YMCA family! Happy birthday!
