Mike Bigelow Takes Hunter; Ron Miller Wins VFS Mill Creek Rifle Club held its HTR/VFS match on April 14-15, 2012 with 36 shooters in attendance. It was a very tough and windy weekend with the threat of tornados and severe storms looming all over the midwest. The local weather broadcasted the winds at 35 45 mph. Needless to say the scores took a beating. In Varmint for Score, Sam Longhofer managed the only 250 at 100-yards for the win. Tim Turnbull won 200 by an “X� and Arlyn Copley took the 300 yard stage. Tim Turnbull did his usual steady shooting and won the 100 and 200 yard aggregate. Ron Miller either tied or was second in each yardage and would up winning the 200-300 aggregate and the three yardage grand. In Hunter class Tim Henderson won the 100-yard, Mike Bigelow the 200-yard and Mike McFarland the 300. Mike Bigelow and Mike McFarland shared every aggregate; Bigelow the 100 and 200, McFarland the 200 and 300.
