After reviewing the skills taught in Beginners 1, we’ll learn beginning pattern reading skills, shaping techniques (increases and decreases), basic combination stitches, such as rib and stockingette stitches, and some quick and easy methods of assembling and finishing knitted projects. This class builds on the skills and techniques taught in the previous class. We’ll learn more advanced pattern reading skills, finishing techniques to achieve a “hand-made”, not “home-made” look to your knitted projects, and the skills needed to complete a handknitted, long-sleeved, buttoned jacket. Age 12+ with Jennifer Williams, Moonlit Circus Felted bags are on-trend, functional, and fun! In this class you will either learn to crochet OR enhance your skills, and begin crocheting a bag that you design in class. The mystery of the felting process will be revealed, and you will complete your bag at home. You will be amazed at the professional quality of your clutch, mobile device cover, tote, or purse! Take either class, or sign up for both and make two different bags. Crochet beginners or experienced welcome.
