Volunteering can help foster a sense of community and selfesteem and it’s fun! At the Paso Robles City Library, teens ages 13 - 18 may apply to be a Summer Reading Program volunteer. If you like working with children and helping with programs, this is the job for you! 8th Annual Juried Teen Art Competition Call for Entries Wednesday, April 30 Aspiring North County artists in grades 6 - 12 are invited to submit artwork for the Paso Robles City Library’s 8th Annual Brushmarks Juried Art Competition for Teens. Submissions will be accepted on Wednesday, April 30, in three categories—painting, drawing, and, new this year to commemorate the city’s 125th Anniversary, a special Quasquicentennial Celebration category. A small entry fee is charged to enter the event. Winners in each category will be selected by Juror

The talented artists of the Paso Robles Art Association will conduct a series of free art classes for children ages 8 12. Classes are limited to 20 students per day and will be held in the Library Conference Room. Children may sign up at the Library starting Monday, March 17 for one session: Wednesday, April 16 or Thursday, April 17.
