We invite you to become a member of the Paso Robles Senior Center. Anyone can become a member regardless of age. By joining, you will help support our free services, programs, and activities. There are four different levels of membership support available: Annual Basic:

$12/individual $15/household Annual Friend: $50 Annual Sponsor: $100 Lifetime: $200 one-time

Funding and Charitable Status: In 1981, an ENDOWMENT FUND was established by the Senior Advisory Committee to the City of Paso Robles. Contributions, endowments, and memorials are encouraged to ensure the future of our services and programs, and may be tax deductible. Contributions are held in a trustee account by the City of Paso Robles and will be utilized solely for senior programs.

How You Can Help: Donors contribute in a number of ways, including cash, as well as other assets. Planned gifts can also be made, which include wills and trusts, making the endowment fund the beneficiary in life insurance policies, and charitable remainder trusts, which can continue to generate income for the donor during their lifetime. RSVP is a federally-funded nonprofit program of Senior Volunteer Services. They match the interests of persons age 55 and older with rewarding part-time volunteer opportunities for community service at hospitals and local nonprofit organizations or government agencies. There is no cost to join. For more information, call 544-8740.

Center run smoothly. Volunteers serve in all areas, including leadership and advisory roles, receptionists, nutrition servers and drivers, teaching classes, leading activities, maintaining the library, coordinating clubs, entering data into the computer, and much, much more. Available through the City of Paso Robles The City of Paso Robles, Department of Library and Recreation Services, has a Senior Scholarship Fund to provide monetary assistance for seniors who wish to participate in recreation programs but may not be able to afford the registration fees. Contributions from local businesses, service clubs, individuals, and organizations are welcome. Scholarships may be used for City of Paso Robles, Department of Library and Recreation Services programs or activities only.
