Join us for cider and donuts following the stories. This event takes the place of Pajama Story Time for the month of October. Gratitude Garland

Please preregister for this program beginning November 10 at the Children’s Desk. Get into the holiday spirit by enjoying a few classic Christmas stories read by Children’s Librarian Heather Stephenson. Sip cocoa and nibble on cookies as we celebrate the season. Bring a new wrapped book with your child’s name on it if you would like your child to receive a personal present from Santa’s sack at the end of the program.

November (ongoing for all ages) There’s no better time of year to reflect on what we are grateful for in our lives. During the month of November, come to the City Library to help us create a beautiful gratitude garland filled with notes of what you are grateful for. Free ticket available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes prior to the program. Come and watch the original 1966 animated classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” followed by Grinch trivia and a Grinch-themed treat that your child can make and eat. Who knows, maybe even the Grinch himself will make a guest appearance.

Monday, December 22 or Monday, December 29 2:00-5:00 p.m. Library Story Hour Room This Frosty friend is sure to warm your heart with his adorable light-up carrot nose. Visit the Library Study Center or the children’s Story Hour Room at the City Library on either day to make this winter decoration.
