Portland Parks & Recreation - Summer 2015

Educational Preschools Each of our four Community Centers offer an educational preschool program.

Now Enrolling Fall 2015! Our Educational Preschool Programs are all based on the philosophy that children learn through play, by exploring & manipulating their environment. The goal of our programs is to provide opportunities for children to develop & grow at their own rate. To enhance this experience, our classrooms are set up in learning centers that enable children to explore different areas of development, such as fine motor, socialization, pre-math, p re-reading & listening skills. All of our programs run concurrently with the Portland Public Schools’ calendar. Child must be potty trained & meet the minimum age required for each specific class by September 1st. Once registered, it is assumed your child will remain with the program for the entire school year. For more information on specific programs or to register, please contact the individual site.

He received his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from Missouri State University. Throughout his education, Dustin was honored with several awards, including best actor, best male dancer, and best choreography. Kelly Ann Koltiska has been working for Parks and Rec for 4 years, teaching a variety of dance and gymnastics classes. Testimonial for Chad Carver – Yoga

“I first found Chad's yoga class in the Peninsula Park Community Center a couple years ago when I was receiving radiation treatments for prostate cancer. My experience in Chad's yoga class has changed my life for the better.” - Neal Ullestad
