Portland Parks & Recreation - Spring 2013 Youth Art Art Gallery For Young Artists Ages: 7-12 Children will explore a variety of techniques and mediums with local artist and graphic designer, Angela Horton. A graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle, Angela enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for creativity and self-expression with local youth. Art Gallery for Young Artists will give students the opportunity to experiment with painting, drawing, sculpture & collage. Lessons will explore nature inspired imagery, abstract art, symbolism & portraiture. Meet the instructor! Alyson Osborn has been teaching children’s theatre, dance, and art since 1980. She is an actor and dancer with over 60 productions to her credit: favorite roles include Estella in Great Expectations and Clara in The Nutcracker. Alyson also teaches English and drama at PSU, and serves on the board of the Arts Access Project for the Oregon Arts Commission.
