Islanders come out for bluegrass in the park The eighth annual Bainbridge Bluegrass Festival returned to Battle Point Park Saturday, July 26 with all of its old-timey, down-home charms. Musical acts performing this year included North Country Bluegrass, the Warren G. Hardings, the Crichton Family Band, The 1 Uppers, Water Tower, Me and the Boys as well as Top String. Liz Collins and Rowan Brownlee, 6, dance together at the eighth annual Bainbridge Island Bluegrass Festival.

Mesolini Glass hosts working studios show Island music, food, fun and art will come together again for the second annual three-day working studios summer show at Mesolini Glass Studio beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8.
